The Village is host to many quaint shops selling various artworks, beach supplies, clothing, and trinkets.
Many of the shops are family owned, individual shops with treasures you won’t find anywhere else. A stroll along the Ferry Landing, Orange Avenue, or through the Del will show you the unique collection of shopping which Coronado has to offer.
The Ferry Landing is a wonderful spot to venture through on a sunny day. There is a path that follows the shore of the bay, but you will want to detour through the main portion of the Landing. You can browse for apparel, gifts, souvenirs, and art galleries, afterwards stopping for a cool scoop of ice cream at Cold Stone Creamery.
Orange Avenue is made up of a mix of eateries and shops. M.J. Brown is also nearby and stands as another local favorite here in Coronado, known for their women’s clothing. You can find them on the corner of 10th and Orange. Continue down the block and you’ll want to stop into Bay Books, a wonderful place to browse the newest books and grab a coffee. This quaint book shop is conveniently located next to the popular Moo Time Creamery as well.
On the other side of Orange Avenue is Kippy’s, which sells both men’s and women’s clothing, but the store is world famous for their collection of belts. Then there are more shops distinct to Coronado such as the surf shop, Emerald City, and the charming home boutique and gourmet snack stop, In Good Taste.
The Del has shops of its own that sell anything from stylish brand name clothing, to Coronado themed Christmas ornaments, to jeweler’s shops. Golden Gifts on F Avenue offers another option to browse a beautiful selection of jewelry at any given time.
